Well tonight was the big night.  We reserved for the Winterlicious set menu and invited our real estate agent and her husband.  They live downtown and had never heard of your restaurant and of course had never been.
I could not wait to go. 

From the moment we walked in the door, we were amazed.  The chap who greeted us and took us upstairs, took our coats so politely and showed us to our table IN THE GARDEN ROOM as I call it.  I used to say
to my husband, if we go there someday, I want to sit in the garden room,
it looks so beautiful.  So there we were exactly where I wanted to be seated.  Yes, how good is that!  The guitar music was perfect all the songs we know and love.  Our friends bought the CD.  Can you tell we enjoyed ourselves tremendously.  We do eat out in nice restaurants so we have others to compare you to, but none better.

Then we had our waiter Yuri, who was exceptional, attentive, polite, pleasant and helpful.  We all ordered something different for all 3 courses and every single thing was perfect.  Oh yes and we had a couple
of bottles of wine to go with it. 

What a pleasant experience this evening was and we all agreed we will be back for sure.  We were trying to imagine how beautiful it must be on
a summer evening with the leaves on the trees and the sun shining in those windows, I can't wait.

A wonderful time was had by all.  In closing might I also tell you that some people had told me that when you use the Winterlicious 'deal', you don't get the same service or quality.  Well I want to tell you that it doesn't get much better.  We were treated like any other guest in your restaurant and really appreciated it, that is another big reason we will go back. Your have class and the best staff around.

I know it's already been almost 4 months since our wedding on
October 7, but I wanted to thank you for everything. Our guests are still raving about the food and the restaurant on how perfect a place it was for a wedding. They said that the food was the best they've ever had at a
wedding and some are going back to La Maquette because they loved the food so much.

Bonjour!

The wedding reception I attended on New Year's Eve was unlike any other reception I have been to, starting with the champagne greeting and coat-gathering at the door, continuing with the dinner and then beyond to the countdown to 2006.

About the dinner: this was not a wedding dinner: it was a delicious meal (the sea bass about as perfectly cooked as it could be) at a wonderful restaurant surrounded by many friends.

Thank you for your part in creating what may be my most favorite New Year's Eve ever.
